Welcome to RotaDays. These Terms of Use apply to your use of the RotaDays mobile app and related services. By using RotaDays, you agree to these terms.

1. What RotaDays Does

RotaDays is a rota and shift calendar app. It helps users create repeating work patterns, view future work days, days off, travel days, and personal schedule notes.

RotaDays is intended as a planning tool. You are responsible for checking your actual work schedule with your employer, manager, crew coordinator, or official workplace system.

2. No Account Required

RotaDays does not require you to create an account. Your rota, schedule, notes, settings, and personal events are stored locally on your device unless a future version clearly states otherwise.

3. Free Version and Full Access

RotaDays can be downloaded and used for free. The free version covers one rotation and about three months of planning ahead, which is enough to use the app for real.

Full Access unlocks the remaining features, such as unlimited rotations, full-year planning, showing your own device calendars alongside your rota, sharing, export features, personal events, and custom colours. Full Access is offered in two forms:

• Full Access, yearly — an auto-renewing subscription, billed once a year.
• Lifetime Full Access — a one-time purchase that never renews.

Both unlock exactly the same features. The price of each is shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm, and can differ by country and change over time.

Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Payment, refunds, billing issues, and purchase management are subject to Apple's terms and policies.

4. Subscription Terms

If you choose Full Access, yearly, payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for another year at the then-current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.

You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in Settings › your name › Subscriptions on your device, or through your Apple Account. Cancelling stops future renewals; Full Access stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

RotaDays currently offers no free trial and no introductory offer. If one is offered later, its length and conditions are shown before you confirm, and any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription while the trial is still running.

If the subscription price changes, Apple notifies you and, where required, asks for your consent before the next renewal.

5. Lifetime Full Access

Lifetime Full Access is a one-time purchase. It does not renew, it is never billed again, and it is not a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription. It covers RotaDays for as long as the app is available on the App Store and remains compatible with your device; it is not a guarantee that the app or any individual feature will exist forever.

Full Access bought as a one-time purchase before the subscription existed remains valid and still includes features added afterwards. You are not asked to subscribe for something you have already paid for.

6. Restore Purchases

If you reinstall the app or move to a new device using the same Apple Account, use Restore Purchases inside the app to restore your subscription or your Lifetime purchase.

7. Accuracy

RotaDays tries to calculate repeating rota patterns accurately, including month changes, leap years, and future dates. However, we do not guarantee that every schedule calculation, export, reminder, or displayed date will always be error-free.

Shift reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Whether and when they are delivered depends on your device and its notification settings, so they are not guaranteed. Do not rely on them alone for attendance.

8. No Liability for Missed Work or Schedule Errors

RotaDays is a planning aid only. We are not responsible for missed shifts, incorrect attendance, travel issues, lost income, employment consequences, or other damages caused by relying only on the app.

9. User Data

You are responsible for the information you enter into RotaDays. Do not enter sensitive information unless you are comfortable storing it on your device.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.

11. Changes to the App

We may update, change, add, or remove features at any time. We may also change pricing, and may add, change, or withdraw purchase options for new customers. Existing purchases and running subscriptions are handled according to Apple's App Store rules and applicable law; a Lifetime purchase is not withdrawn from someone who already owns it.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new "Last updated" date.
